WebMaybe I am wrong, but I thought that Unity Tilemaps are more for designing levels by hand rather than procedurally. Although it should be doable. I had my own solution using ScriptableObjects before Unity announced all this new Tilemap features. If you are interested in my solution, I could explain the main parts of it.
