WebJan 29, 2010 · 21 ohms applies to DNO rod at subsation - no point having a rod at your house if DNO havent stuck one in the ground at their end for 7671, the rod should be considered unstable at over 200 ohms. if using a 30mA RCD, then your max Zs will be 1667 ohms, but if you do have this, then something is wrong somewhere WebOct 29, 2024 · Also for example :if the TT ze :6ohm in the summer house fuseboard ,then if i put 32a circuit braker for the ring circuit .then would r1+r2: 0.20ohm and i need to add ze:6 ohm = zs would be :6.20 !but in this case the braker will not trip in required times as the regulation show me!Becasue that braker need maximum zs:1.44 ohm!
WebJun 9, 2011 · The 200 ohms figure is actually Ra not Zs.....in effect your Ze should be max 200 ohms and Zs on final circuits may be higher...ie Ra+ R1+R2. On a TT ignore the max Zs figures in 7671 for overcurrent protective devices and use the max Zs for RCD's,(as it is the RCd which provides earth fault protection on a TT).....given in table 41.5. WebJul 17, 2010 · Discuss Max Zs for earthing arrangement? in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net WebJun 2, 2024 · However, the maximum Zs which would result in the required disconnection times by a 30mA RCD in response to a negligible-impedance L-E fault (which is analogous to the requirement with RM CB/fuse fault protection) would traditionally have been 7,667Ω (at 230V), presumably now 7,283Ω (with 'Cmin'). Kind Regards, John. Edit: typo corrected.
