It is composed of high purity C8 monoesters and undecylenic acid to protect formulations from microbial growth. Effective in emulsions, creams and lotions in addition to surfactant-based products such as shower gels, facial cleansers and shampoos. WebLexgard® H is a multi-functional ingredient: moisturizer and solvent which can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions or in surfactant based products such as shower gels, facial cleansers, and shampoos. It is recommended that Lexgard® H be used at concentrations of 1.0 - 3.0% w/w.
