I live in Louisiana with a LOT of bugs. We have a screened porch, opened porch and backyard pergola. We do tend to spend more time on the pergola but we also have a mosquito fogger to control the buggers! We don't really use our screened porch much….I don't really know why though but I do love both open and screened in porches.
